Blog Beginnings

Hello everyone; this is Alina Skyler, and I am the designer behind Skyler Man Fine Jewelry. Oftentimes, I have to answer the interview questions of “What inspires you?”, “What are your influences?”, “What are your style picks?”. This has bothered me! It’s really hard to express this earnestly in a sentence or two (and I am not allowed to go on for days, believe me, I've tried). 

So I decided to start this blog to truly express the powers that move me, my style and the sources in my mind that influence my designs and aesthetic. There are so many forces that make up the complexity of somebody’s style and surface in their expression, and I invite you to exhibit mine. I want to talk about  EVERYTHING that has to do with style and I would love to hear your feedback. Whether you will share my style or not, I promise you will find it interesting and just like my jewelry, non conventional.
