Spot on Style: Ilana Glazer

Like you and everyone you know, we are currently obsessed with Broad City!

But we are especially in love with everything about Ilana Glazer, from her clothes to her personality, she is just dope! Her expressive fashion in the show encompasses so much. She represents a style that is bold, fearless, effortless, and so ironic that it's so cool. She boasts the look of Brooklyn cool, street style, and her nod to hipster irony is a laugh in the face of trends. We commend you Ilana for looking like you don't give a shit what other people think is cool and that makes you a "trendsetter." You look hot being your own cool chic. If I was doing the rope at a club you would be the first in!

It's Still Cold

Happy Spring.

Just kidding. It's still cold in NYC.

Wearing my favorite Japanese Kimono style wrap sweater. It’s literally the coziest! Also wearing my favorite side drape pants, also super comfortable for work but totally cute. You will see me wearing these shoes a lot ! These are my very favorite shoes right now, I cannot take them off. I am not a fan of flats but I am also not a fan of high heels by the way (which is not to say I will never wear them), but this style, the platform, is just my favorite thing ever! I love the way it looks, I love the way it feels and I love the style it references. These are sort of like sneakers but better, and they are made by Cinzia Aria. I am obsessed with their shoes.

Winter Jacket Roundup

Since it's one of the last colder days here in NYC and I'm about to put my jackets away for the much anticipated upcoming Spring season, here's a jacket round-up for you guys.

 

This was a fun photo shoot for me because I got to briefly style a few jackets that I own but never get to wear.You know when you have a bunch of stuff sitting in your closet, yet wear the same thing over and over again? That's me!

 

The boots I'm wearing in every picture are my patent black Rubber Ducks. I rocked those literally with every outfit through the snowy winter, because they're snow boots, and that's how I roll.

It's Getting Warmer

It's finally getting warmer in NYC after a bitch of a winter and I can almost smell the tulips blossoming. 

I'm so happy I get to dress like this again, sans jacket and winter boots. NYC is brutal in the winter but then the spring becomes so much more welcome, anticipated, desirable, and sweeter, to quote Emily Dickinson "To comprehend a nectar requires sorest need."

In this picture I am wearing The Candy Bar Ring. This ring makes me happy and sunshiny, even in the darker weather. In the above picture I'm also wearing my Shot Through The Heart Necklace and my Crow Masquerade Earrings.  

As you may have noticed, I wear a lot of black, some of my favorite designers to come.
